All About Team Sabatos
Q. - What is this "Sabatos Network" thing that all the hip kids keep talking
about these days?
A. - The Sabatos Network is a loose confederation of pages devoted to free
online games, music, and geeky humor rolled up into a giant burrito of tasty
goodness that even your mother could love!
Q. - So whats up with the word "Sabatos" anyway? What does it mean?
A. - Sabatos is a play on words from the Spanish word Sabado or Saturday. As
a kid, I would watch bits and pieces of Telemundo on cable. I was always
intrigued by the show "Sabado Gigante" and came up with the play on words.
Q. - Who are these "Sabatos Especial" I keep reading about on my Internet
screen?
A. - The "Sabatos Especial" are the backbone of The Sabatos Network and are
the guys that bring you all of the tasty content that you love to read. Below
are the bios for the team and a little about them:
Name: Shane "SG111" Trusty
Position: Webmaster, Administrator, Owner, and "The guY" in charge.
Likes: Nachos, old video games, most things from Williams Street, free
stuff, and San Dimas.
Dislikes: Salesmen, Pay 2 Play online games, and De Nomolos.
Info: Hi. I guess I would be the Dollar Store glue that keeps the
misguided dream of The Sabatos Network Alive. When I'm not writing about
pointless topics, I like to spend time at my primary job as one of those
manager types at the local neighborhood Wal-Mart. The rest of my time is spent
attempting to be a decent husband and father to my family. But you didn't come
here to hear about that did you? Thats what I thought! Keep reading to know more
about the folks who keep this site running, (and work for free!)
Name: Tom Kane
Position: Sabatos Especial, Global Forum Admin, Review Chief, Awesome guY
, and Postorator.
Likes: Ninjas, zombies, movies, video games, rock music, comic books, the
80's, [adult swim], and beautiful women.
Dislikes: Hobos, posers, snobs, and idiots.
Info: Hey everyone. I'm 20 and love to write. I also have quite the large
collection of video games and my friends come to me all the time to ask "What's
a good game?" and I can answer them because I own them all. So, being chief
video game reviewer only makes sense. Other times I rock quite hard as my alter
ego "Red Envy" and am working on that "talent" constantly. I also write and
shoot "extreme budget independent flicks" for my very own Unmotivated
Productions. I plan on being with Sabatos Network for some time, since it's been
a blast for me for about four years or so now.
Name: Scott "Draemus" Sennema
Position: Sabatos Especial, Music Review Chief, the other Awesome guY,
and Postorator.
Likes: Ninjas, video games, guitar, music (in particular: rock, punk,
hardcore), web design, programming, acting stupid, and girls.
Dislikes: Lame/boring movies, wasting money, school work, anything else
that sucks.
Info: Hey there. I'm 18, and I enjoy writing, playing guitar, magic
unicorns, and long walks on the beach. Actually, I lied about the magic unicorns
. But the rest is all true. Anyway, I joined Sabatos about two years ago, and
I've always been keen on music. Since joining, I've broadened my horizons and
I've become the "go-to" guy when people wanna know things about music, or
instruments, etc. In between school, work, and whatever social life I have left,
I play in a local band called Eclipse. When I heard Sabatos was starting a music
section, I was kinda excited about that, and being the most musical guY here, I
was a natural selection. So now you're stuck with me. Ha ha.
