Our "game of the moment" is Jedi Knight 3: Jedi Academy. aka JKA, aka JK3, aka JK3JA, aka JJ the dog-man.Why is this your game of the moment? Well, coming hot off the heels of the immensely popular "Star Wars: Episode III" movie, the on-line community for JKA has suddenly SKYROCKETED once again. It never quite died, but it was not as thriving as it is right now.
With JKA you never get a dull moment. The single player game is excellent, but the on-line multi-player makes this one of the best Star Wars games for light saber enthusiasts and FPS fans. There are many modes to choose from. You can even practice your skills on the in-game bots! I suggest going on-line and trying the "Duel" mode; no force powers, no guns, just hot saber on saber action... wait, what?
Anyway, with all sorts of mods, skins, levels, and utilities to download, this can easily consume a week or two of your game playing time. And who knows? Maybe you'll become a fanatic for the game (like so many before you) and play for months.
